Material Provenance & Stewardship
We source elite specimens exclusively from naturally fallen or dead timber. No living forests are disrupted. This prolonged, natural weathering process ensures that each piece yields a distinct grain pattern, structural fissure profile, and tonal depth. Sourced intentionally from the sub-alpine micro climates of the Wasatch Range — any geographic parameter is achievable for the discerning commission.
Structural Authenticity
Every raw timber specimen is individually evaluated by eye and hand, honoring its physical evolution and organic grain matrix. Our structural integration process carefully bridges primitive material form with modern function: we seamlessly embed deep-regress, low-energy solid-state light engines cleanly into the heartwood core, ensuring the fixture's long-term stability without compromising its natural truth, character fissures, or structural history. Because nature never designs the same composition twice, no neighbor can replicate your installation’s presence — it remains a singular architectural asset possessed solely by its caretaker.
